Core Responsibilities

We are on the path to rebuild our SAP systems as Infrastructure as code in the AWS cloud. And our team is looking for a new team member to strengthen our cloud and coding competencies and help us set the standards for how the SAP systems will run successfully in AWS cloud. You will be the go-to person on setting direction for how we build, test and deploy in the cloud. We are a 5-person core team, with a very friendly atmosphere, who care about each other and support each other to get great work done.



Building new proficiencies and gaining the right knowledge, is a fundamental brick in our work culture. We invest heavily in you building the right competencies and knowledge through courses, experimentation time, sparring, external conferences or networks. We are a part of the Digital Organization in LEGO® more specifically the Infrastructure and Security (BIS) department. Our working style is agile and our team is empowered, highly skilled and passionate about customer satisfaction. Your role in BIS will cover:



• Building Infrastructure as code in the AWS cloud

• Operate and continuously optimize a cloud-based SAP platform.

• Strengthening the security setup for cloud-based systems.

• Driving end-to-end automation.

• Demo to internal customers and engage for feedback.

• Being a specialist in AWS usage and educate our team

Play your part in our team succeeding

BIS is responsible for the infrastructural and IT Security setup for the entire LEGO group including areas such as clients, hosting, cybersecurity, datacenters and network. This setup is a hybrid on-premise and cloud offering, from which we service offices, factories and brand retail stores. The team is operating both an on-premise and an AWS cloud infrastructure, and our aim is to craft reusable platform components, which digital developer teams can utilize.



Your office will be in our open office environment at LEGO® Headquarters, called Campus, in Billund. You will share your local neighborhood of the office with about a hundred other IT professionals with whom you can discuss ideas, solutions and innovations across technologies. The atmosphere is informal, with possibilities to have meetings in the coffee bar, garden area or take an hour in the gym.



As a company our virtual collaboration tools and collaboration culture is very mature and has proven very effective during the Covid-19 situation, where many colleagues have worked flexible from either their home, the company office or other places. No matter where the work takes place, we are driven by our LEGO® core values creativity, quality, fun, imagination and care.

Do you have what it takes?

We expect you to have several years of relevant field experience on developing and building for the cloud (preferably AWS). You are eager to learn fast about SAP ERP systems and how to operate these effectively in the cloud. You come with a relevant IT education, such as Computer Science, Software Engineer or the like. Minimum requirements at bachelor level.



• Senior level experience with DevOps.

• Strong IaaS background and passion for cutting-edge IT architectures and technologies, and serverless knowledge.

• Documented experience with designing, delivering, and operating secure, complex, mission critical Cloud based IT environments

• Passion for technology, for trying out new solutions and technologies for solving real-life problems with secure, robust, scalable solutions.

• Strong in delivering results and keeping focus



As a person you enjoy collaboration and strong in sharing knowledge. You are customer oriented and have a flexible attitude, being agile in spirit – minding the customer’s needs and you have a true passion for the job using creativity and courage to solve complex tasks.



Advanced English both written and verbally is a need since we work with globally distributed teams. Preferably advanced in Danish as well.
