• Main activities

• Be the MCO (Manufacturing Change Owner) for his plant

• Be the "Plant pilot" for the integration of products evolutions into his Plant.

• Manage products evolution projects into the Plant:

  • Coming from Department to "defend" the point of view of the plant

  • In the Plant, to be sure that all involved people have well taken into account their tasks.

• Be informed and involved after OPEN decision of the project:

  • Assess feasibility of the evolution with its impacts

  • Verify the resource availability needed for the evolution project

  • Schedule actions

  • Verify actions follow-up

  • Propose corrective actions if needed

• Produces Technical specification (Product file or Dossier) for any product or subassembly of his technology

• Prepare Industrialization for this technology in cooperation with Plant

• Do not design by its own with CE (Continuous Engineering) delegation

• He is in charge to pilot PEP actions into the Plant: Operational mission at the action (PCE/MCN). 

  • To initialize the requests – PCRs – for the Plant

  • To realize feasibility study and Plant impact analysis: Quality, logistics, Pilot run date and SELL date.

  • To coordinate all the Functions of the Plant involved into the PEP action : Methods/Support, Quality, Supply Chain,.. + Purchasing + external resource if needed

  • To provide Plant dates and deliverables for Stage Gates crossing during BOC meeting.

  • To manage MCN - Manufacturing Change Notice – and the update of dates into Tempo.
