My client a growing SME are looking to recruit a company accountant to manage their finance function

€50000 - €60000 per annum

Company Accountant

• Interpreting & reporting financial information to aid business decision-making and control
• Providing monthly management accounts with budgets & forecasts to guide business planning
• Carrying out pricing & margin analysis by product/ sector
• Negotiating costs; monitoring & reporting on cost variance
• Competitor analysis, strategic planning, and investor appraisal
• Strategic financial modelling regarding new products & new markets
• Providing operational and functional financial insight, planning & analysis; working with managers on business data to drive commercial success
• Managing the day-to-day finance & accounts operations: payroll, debtors, creditors, cash flow, compliance, grant applications, cost-analysis & cost-reduction, liaising with external accountants regarding eoy accounts
• Overall responsibility for managing the finance function, team, and any related duties as required by the Directors

• Management Accountant role in SME
• Demonstrated enterprise & ambition to take on business growth challenges and demands in a fast-paced environment
• Analysing business performance across various departments, sectors & products, drawing commercial conclusions and presenting metrics to key stakeholders
• Leading budgeting & business planning; evaluating future business opportunities
• Strong working capital management performance
• Combining accounting, finance and general management with the techniques needed to drive a successful business
