The Company is currently looking for a Security Officer

Duties and responsabilities

The Security Officer will be in charge of all security procedures (in particular regarding Satellite Navigation Projects), constituting the interface between the remote site local security officers and the client, with the aim of ensuring the initial and periodic accreditation of the infrastructures managed by Vitrociset.

He will be responsible for:

• Check and monitor the security procedures implemented in all remote sites and support the regular re-accreditation  process  of existing Remote Sites
• interacting with the Belgian NSA
• Manage and resolve the security criticality
• Manage the documentation and reporting on the activities carried out and with respect to the underlying contractual and regulatory obligations
• Support the Remote sites in delivery of all relevant security documents and its updates
• Day by day support to the Remote Sites in Anomalies Reporting, real time security risk assessment, guarantee compliance with the applicable requirements
• Responsible for the overall planning and implementation of security matters at the GILSC;
  • implementation of access permits, badges and codes, accesses and security;
  • management of classified items;
  • security reporting to the project authorities;
  • organisation of Transport plan for classified items to the Remote Sites;
  • interacting with the GSOp Security office.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years experience in the same role;
• Knowledge of Satellite Navigation project or other GNSS project (such as EGNOS or Galileo)
• EU Secret security clearance
• Fluency in English
• French will be considered a preferential requirement
