How to join a job interview

Conducting online interviews

A new video conferencing tool, Jitsi, has been introduced to the European (Online) Job Days Platform in order to make the job interview process for jobseekers and employers more straightforward and user-friendly.

If you have an interview time slot confirmed with a jobseeker, simply go to the „Job applications “ section in your dashboard menu and click on the button "JOIN CHAT" to meet your candidate at the agreed interview time (see example below). You will be automatically redirected to a video call where the interview can take place.

In addition, you will be able to browse all communication tools indicated by the jobseeker and use them externally to conduct an online interview with the candidate. To find this information, click on the „Manage“ button and then on „See profile“ (see image above). If available, the alternative contact options will be listed in the section „Contact options” (see example below)..

If necessary, the traditional e-mail and/or phone system can be used.
