At Jabra, the HR Specialist will engage in all aspects of Human Resources that will provide a high performance, best-in-class culture that emphasizes engagement, empowerment, quality, productivity and ongoing development.  You will implement HR services, policies, and programs and assist employees with HR related challenges and HR sponsored programs. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HRNA office and providing global support to colleagues outside of North America. Other areas of responsibility include benefit administration, compliance reporting and training, HR systems, new hire orientation and other HR related tasks and projects. This is a fast-paced, challenging role for a service-oriented individual interested in applying many skills and competencies within the HR discipline.

 

Areas of Focus

  • Employee Orientation and Onboarding – Partner with North American Talent Acquisition Team to provide the best possible candidate and new employee experience to newly hired team members.  Recommend and implement new and creative ideas to enhance New Hire Orientation program.  Manage Orientation schedule, invitations, presenter participation, etc.  Responsible for follow-up survey distribution and reporting to ensure continuous improvement of onboarding experience.

  • Benefits Administration – Be first point of contact for employees with questions on various benefit programs and offerings.  Monitor utilization of programs and offerings, make recommendations to HR Leadership for enhancements, to ensure program maintains competitive position in the market.  Responsible for processing billing and invoices to ensure timely payment.   Manage annual open enrollment activities.

  • HRM / Systems – Using in-depth knowledge of HR processes, support managers and employees with global processes run through HRM (Workday).  Maintain My.GN Intranet pages for North America.  Partner with various internal and external team members to ensure accurate integration of Workday data to other systems (ADP payroll, B-Swift Benefits portal, benefit vendors, etc.).

  • Reporting Requirements – Responsible for annual reporting for Affirmative Action, EEO, Vets 4212, ACA.  Partner with Recruiter to maintain activities related to AAP initiatives throughout the year.

  • Leave Administration – Be first point of contact for employees and managers in matters related to FMLA, Disability or other leaves of absence.  Initiate leave requests through vendors, ensure timely processing of leave approvals and inquiries.  Partner with payroll team to ensure employee leave pay is timely and accurate.

 

Other Duties:

  • Additional tasks as assigned by HR Director

  • Develop knowledge of day to day tasks of other HRNA team members for full coverage model within small team

  • Member of Global HR Team

  • Company Employee Activities Program Committee Member
