You will be working with Leica ConX which is a revolutionary cloud product that offers our customers the possibility to monitor work on the construction site in real-time, plan work for the whole project duration, communicate with machines and machine operators and much more.

We are on an exciting journey where we are building a novel new framework for test automation and your knowledge and contribution will be vital to its success. In the process of building, we are employing the best aspects from Behavior Driven Development while working with the Cypress test automation framework. With an offset in your established skills in augmenting manual testing with test automation and good knowledge of automation software architecture you can still influence the direction the framework is taking.



Who are we looking for?

As a person you have a systematic, structured and result-oriented approach to your work. You are focused, motivated, and work independently within your team, while performing equally well in collaboration across the organization. You take responsibility for your assignments, are quality-conscious and meet agreed deadlines.

You should have extensive experience as software tester where you have been responsible for test planning, exploratory testing, manual tests and test automation and reporting for web-based UI’s. You take pride in developing scalable and maintainable test suites and scripts for integration with CI systems. Furthermore, we imagine you have experience in some of these areas:

• Experience working with manual and automated testing for web-based UI’s
• Working experience and ability to write and read code in Javascript and Python languages
• Experience in working with some of these tools/frameworks: Cypress, Protractor, JMeter, Postman/SoapUI, Cucumber framework
• Experience of configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Experience with Git, Jira and Testrail or Testlink
• Documentation and technical reporting
• ISTQB certification on Foundation level or higher
• Knowledge and experience in working with the BDD methodology and maybe even implementing test automation using the Cucumber framework

Job Description

As a key member of the QA Test Team focusing on the Leica ConX software, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and performance of ConX by performing both manual test and implementing automated tests.

Your daily work will be divided between work in project teams and ensuring the quality of our recurrent releases. As you will be testing the integration of our broad product portfolio with the ConX product some degree of hardware testing is required. Therefor it is important that you can join the rest of the team in our offices in Lilejeholmen, Stockholm and Odense, Denmark on a regular basis.
